Coping with Organizational Information Technology Events: A Perceived Organizational Support and Relationship-Focused Coping Perspective

While in recent years there is an increasing interest researching individual technology acceptance and use based on the stress-coping perspective, relatively little attention has been paid to social-contextual factors as antecedents of coping strategies outcomes. The research proposal intended address this limitation. Specifically, drawing theory, organizational support conflict management, a model that incorporate perceived (POS) positive/negative relationship-focused proposed. POS key resource during stress expected influence employees’ primary secondary appraisals IT event, which turn affect their choices strategies, resulting or nonuse.
